Wensten Accounting recognizes the value of volunteering works. It believes in a healthy and happy community. It always supports the social programs and actively participates in the community activities.
Since 2000, we have been presenting in free information seminars called Income Tax Clinic for new immigrants and international students at the New Canadians' Centre, Trent University, Fleming College and other organizations in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. We introduce the basic information about the income tax system, summarize the tax benefits from filing a tax return, familiarize them with the information slips and documents required to prepare a return, bring their attention to the payment schedule of the social benefits, and tell them how to deal with the issues of review and audit by Canada Revenue Agency.
We set as a Co-Treasurer for GPHSF - Your Family Health Team Foundation since 2019.
We have participated in Terry Fox Runs and other fundraising events. We have volunteered in the local school boards and churches to promote the awareness of the multiculturalism in Canada.
